For the second year in a row we were able to all be together for Christmas. In fact, with Christmas Eve falling on a Monday, everyone was even able to arrange their schedules so that they could come home on Saturday, which meant a leisurely start to the holidays. We grazed, slept, and laughed; always a good holiday combination. Some practiced their sharp shooting, some watched movies, some planned get-away trips, but it took everyone's input to conquer our family tendancy to over-think things for all of us to reach a 7 year old's mastery-level knowledge of the game Qwirkle! Numbers and shapes; it sounds SO simple...
